The time is nearly upon us for the festive season to begin and after a hard long year we all definitely deserve it. After finally finishing The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix I think it’s safe to say I’ve got a mixed review about it. The first season, The Haunting of Hill House, was a fantastic show with everything you would expect from a horror genre. But does Bly Manor really live up to its predecessor.

Sport has disappeared for too long know and we are all wanting for it to begin ahead with our favourite teams and athletes battling it out for glory. However, until then why not try the next best thing to keep us going? They are loads of sport related movies to get lost in with each having their own unique story line. Sometimes they can even provide a motivational boost for us which some of us may need during these hard times. What I’ve seen mostly though that it appears to be combat sports which make the biggest blockbusters around.
All of us should have heard of Netflix by now and most of us probably own a subscription but if you don’t you must have been living under a rock. We at Cinema Lounge are aimed ar giving you some of the top movies and TV out there and so for all of you with a Netflix account we have a list with our favourite Netflix originals to past the time during the lockdown.
We are already a few weeks into the lockdown period now and with it being extended, some of us are struggling for things to do. We’ve found that the best way to cope during these times if your feeling down is laughter and what no better way to enjoy your time in with a few good old comedy movies to lighten the mood.
This year we are treated with more original movies and content than ever before and even more which have been announced later this year. With DC’s Extended Universe expanding rapidly allowing for more productions to take place in the DCEU and also Marvel expanding their world with exclusive content coming to the rising platform Disney Plus.
The popular Netflix original The Witcher is set to return for its second season because of the huge fanbase it has collected from all areas of The Witcher universe. However, all of us are hoping that the producers take into account what went wrong and what went well for the series so that it can be improved. Including its storyline.
Season 4 of the popular Netflix original ‘Stranger Things’ is officially underway as we speak and various teaser trailers have already been released announcing its return. The teaser trailer doesn’t give us too much information about what is to come yet but we have been given some major insights into what’s to come.
