As the release of the fourth season of Stranger Things came out on Friday which has generated a popular response and an impressive runtime, we thought to ourselves what else is there to look forward to on Netflix in the coming months?

Umbrella Academy (Season 3)

Release date: 22 Jun

The Umbrella Academy returns for its third season which follows a dysfunctional family who spent their childhood harnessing their powers and fighting crime. Season 2 ended with the family returning back to the present day after preventing the 1963 doomsday. However, they return to find things as they didn’t leave and their once childhood home is now home to a whole new family, The Sparrow Academy.

The Witcher Blood Origin

Release date: TBC

Because of the popularity of The Witcher series, the universe is about to expand even further with The Witcher Blood Origin set 1,200 years before Geralt of Rivia in an elven world of monsters, men and elves merge as one and the first Witcher is born. Set in the same universe as the popular The Witcher TV show and video game series.

SPIDERHEAD

Release date: 17 June

Chris Hemsworth stars in this new and original sci-fi thriller as a visionary who runs a special facility for inmates who are given a second chance by volunteering as medical subjects for new experimental pharmaceutical drugs. One prisoner becomes the new subject for a drug capable of generating the feeling of love and begins to question what’s happening to his emotions and sets out to find out what’s really going on behind the scenes.

Man Vs Bee

Release date: 24 June

The actor who gave us Mr Bean returns with this new comedy series only on Netflix. Rowan Atkinson wrote this new original piece about homeless man whose constantly being chased by a mischievous bee who got mistaken by a business woman for her new house sitter. The bee and it’s archenemy go on a roll coaster of an adventure whisky trying to take care of her house

Interceptor

Release date: 3 June

An Army captain is forced to utilise all her years of tactical training and military experience when a simultaneous coordinated attack threatens the remote missile interceptor station which she is in command of. This new action thriller by Netflix sets out to be one hell of a adventure featuring edge on the seat combat sequences.

Cobra Kai (Season 5)

Despite my feelings that I’ve had with this Karate Kid spin-off series in the past, it looks like season 5 is gearing up to be absolutely epic. The season 4 finale left us with Hawk and Tory winning the men’s and woman’s All Valley Karate Tournament championships respectively. However, the cliff hanger ending showed Tory and Sensei Kreese finally learning the true nature of Terry Silver and so for the season 5 it seems as if we could be seeing something huge brewing between Cobrai Kai and Miyagi-Do.
