Movies To Watch Now Cinemas Are Open

Well here we are. Cinemas are now officially reopened across the country and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s been a long time coming and we’ve missed the cinema experience so much and now that they’re back in operation m, we’ve got a lot to catch up on. So here’s our list of must watch movies which are now showing in cinemas.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

What a perfect feel good film to start of the list with. The Peter Rabbit story is a household classic which everyone adores. This sequel brings the whole family together which will surely make you forget about the negativity out in the world right now where comedy and adventure will be heavily featured taking your mind off the outside world. This time, Peter and his family travel out of their garden in an attempt to shake his mischievous ways. However, when he encounters a place which all mischief is allowed Peter’s family soon comes to the rescue to bring him home.

Kong vs Godzilla

If your looking for some edge on the seat action for when you return to the cinema, then look no further than Kong vs Godzilla. These two iconic monsters finally face off against one another in an all out battle for survival and only one can live. Along the way, we start to learn more about Kong’s origin and the secrets which lie in the Earth’s crust.

Judas and The Black Messiah

The Academy Award winning film based on the true story of a FBI informant, William O’Neil, and his involvement in the 1969 killing of the chairman of the Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party, Fred Hampton. A fantastically written film about American history giving us a true insight into some of the most interesting events to take place in our word. Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya takes the resigns of this film as Fred Hampton and portrays the character flawlessly throughout.

Tom and Jerry (2021)

Nothing else needs to be said here. These two are arguably the most famous childhood characters to have ever existed and now they are being remastered for the modern day cinema. After a lifetime of being enemies, the two go their separate ways to New York City but soon encounter one another once again when a hotel hires Tom to get rid of their mouse problem who happens to be Jerry. The perfect movie for the entire family which will still give you the classic Tom and Jerry feel like it used to back in its TV days.

Nomadland

The Academy Award winner for best picture brings you the story of a woman in her sixties who embarks on a journey through the American west living as a modern day Nomad after loosing everything in the Great Recession. Along the way she explores what it means to be a Nomad and meet people who are just like her and she then starts to live her best life as a Nomad in their own little community.
