The popular Christmas movie released on Netflix last year is finally having a sequel and is expected to release in 2020. It is unfortunate how we’ll have to wait a whole year again before its release but rest assured. It will be worth it.

The first Christmas Chronicles, which released in the 2018 season exclusively on Netflix, is about two siblings who attempt to capture Santa (Kurt Russell). However, the plan soon fails and the two siblings have no choice but to help Santa Claus save Christmas before its too late. Its overwhelming success the first time around captivated viewers from around the world and once the sequel was announced not too long ago the excitement had already started.

Not much information has been given out so far about the release but from what we know so far the story is about Mr and Mrs Claus (played by real-life couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn) and will follow Kate Pierce (Darby Camp) who is a disillusioned teenager and somehow makes connect once again with Santa when troublemaker Belsnickel (Julian Dennison) attempts to destroy Christmas forever.

No need to fear as familiar faces will also be making a return with Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Judah Lewis, Kimberly Williams-Paisley have all be confirmed to be reprising their roles in the sequel. Some new stars will also be joining the line up as well like Julian Dennison and Jahzir Bruno.
