After the first reveal of the movie in April, which received a huge negative impact, the creators have finally remade the movie with a new version of Sonic and this time looks incredible. Definitely resembles the Sonic we all know and love, not just a weird CGI render which ruins his famous look.

After the highly anticipated movies first reveal trailer in April, the movie received a hugely unpopular reaction to the trailer. Mainly from the game’s hardcore fans who appealed that the design and look of Sonic didn’t resemble the beloved character at all but instead a weird human in a sonic costume and has been described as a “slap in the face”. Especially with its white stand out teeth. After the negative impact, the film had, the film’s director (Jeff Howler) came out and said in his tweet “The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen.”

After the newly released trailer for the film 1 day ago, we are safe to say that the Sonic redesign looks incredible and resembles the famous hedgehog we all know. The film seems like its finally on the road for release for a date of 14 February 2020 starring Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Jim Carrey as Doctor Eggman because of the amount of positivity it has gotten this time from nailing the Sonic character.
