The famous story about a doctor who has a love for taking care of all creatures and animals of the world realises he possesses the ability to speak to them and so, therefore, it begins an adventure of a lifetime. The classic story is having a remaster coming to us in early 2020.

Robert Downey Jr may be finished with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, we are assured that he is not finished on-screen with his new leading role in the upcoming remaster of Doctor Dolittle coming next year whereas this time the movies now official name is Dolittle instead of the previously confirmed name of The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.  The movie is set to be released early next year with a date of January 17th 2020 so I guess we can all think of it as a late New Years gift. The number one thing about remasters is that they are given a brand new cinematic universe based on the same plotline but however given an all-new take on the classic story which in my opinion is a good thing for it as it isn’t the same story we all know and something we can look forward to. To add to that, it seems as though the animals featuring in the 2020 version are more exotic than usual and possibly set in a more safari location because of the types of animals he has.

From first inspections of the trailer, the overall setting seems to be an old British setting where possibly surrounded around the time where pirates were around due to the fact that pirate-like ships can be seen sailing around in the trailer. The beauty of nowaday CGI really does make a huge impact not only on the movie itself but as well as the audience and the beloved fans as it makes us more immersed than ever because of the realism it brings us to over screens which is what this film has also taken advantage of with the animals looking better and better every time you watch and are also really just like the ones we saw in 2019 remaster of The Lion King. Everything we know so far I believe that the film has delivered its movie so far as an “epic adventure” which is aiming for the coming year.

he best thing about it all is that Robert Downey Jr, who we all know as Ironman, has once again delivered an outstanding performance even though we have only seen the trailer! The way he can adapt himself to various characters for different movies is priceless and is something which is going to make this film stand out as he fits right into the role. Not only will he be having the leading role but we are also spoiled with a huge variety of some of the best talents in the industry with the likes of Emma Thompson who is famous for Nanny McPhee, John Cena, Selena Gomez, Ralph Fiennes who is famous for his role as Lord Voldermort in the famous Harry Potter series. Of course, we are also given the information that Tom Holland will also be starring in the film which I think is nice to see as it is his first film along with Robert since his departure in the Avengers so with all this I can assure you that the cast will definitely deliver. A good portion of the cast will be playing the voices of the many animals that Dolittle will be speaking to throughout the film.
