Cineworld VIP: Pros & Cons

This summer has arguably been one of the best for film releases so far in my opinion. We have been gifted with the delights of Hobbs & Shaw, Toy Story 4, Angel Has Fallen and of course the remastered reboot of The Lion King. Not to mention many other great releases as well. As the summer draw to a close many of you maybe rushing to the cinema to see these titles before we all have to go back to work but until then, why not make the most of your final days of with a great night out at Cineworld’s VIP experience. But is it really worth it?

Pros

Of course a great night out for anyone is where you just pay in advance and then don’t have to worry about paying for anything again and get unlimited access to food and drinks. This is excatly what the VIP experience does for you and as you enter through the doors you are given the power of unlimited dinning, cinema snacks amd and treats as well. Just think of getting as much popcorn and nachos as you want if you keep running out, doesn’t that intrest you at all? To add to that the dinning food they provide is amazing with freshly cooked pizzas, salads and seasonal dishes meaning they change some food options dependng on the current seasonal event.

Moving on, the actual cinema threatres themselves are small compared to the standarad screening which is a bonus depending on how you look at it as it therefore could mean that you could be sitting with very few people so you have a higher chance of enjoying your movie without the constant cinema pet peeves we all dread. Another reason they may have to be small is because of the fantastic chair upgrades you recieve when entering VIP. Whilst indulging in your movie, you always have the option to enchance your comfort by reclining and activiating the foot rest to your prefered hight. So when enjoying this top notch feature, please do be careful not to fall asleep.

All this, including the dinning, just maks it the perfect night out for any occasion whether it being a date, family movie night or get to gather with relatives or friends. One thing which does make it more comfortable is that if you are new to Cineworld VIP then you can stop worrying as the staff team are always on hand to answer any questions you might have or give you a short tour if you are unsue of the whereabouts of things so they is no need to worry at all. To add, they also say to get here way eariler than your films start time so you have way more than enough time to experience the wonder that is Cineworld VIP.

Cons

However, with so many great positives they are always going to be some negatives about the experience. One of them, which could appear more to the teenage audience, is that you have to be over the age of 16 to enter into the VIP area meaning that you or all of your group have to be 16 to enter individually and if not then you must be accompanied by an adult. Also, if you are 16 but are still challenged then you must have some sort of ID to prove your age which is a bit of inconvenience in every way really. The part which is the worst is that no matter what the films age rating is, you still have to be 16.

The food is great yes but sometimes the food variety is limited as no matter what time of day it is the food is going to be the same for that day meaning that if you come at breakfast they will most likey be no breakfast foods (Well, this is what happened to me anyway). If you were going to come then the best time to book would probably be around lunch or dinner time.

Overall, my impression on the Cineword VIP experience is that it is definitely worth it if you can make it as it is an experience to not miss out on and can have the opportunity of creating some long lasting memories. I would always recommend the experince to any cine lover or anyone who is looking for just a great night out in general.
