Toy Story 4 Now 5th Movie to reach $1B

The anticipated release of the fourth instalment to its hugely popular Toy Story franchise had an impressive box office week reaching $120 million. The popular Disney classic released on June 21 of this year and ever since its announcement it has been so hyped up and I can say that if you haven’t seen it ready it is definitely worth the watch.

The story picks up where it left off where Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang now live with Bonnie since Andy has moved away. The story features how Bonnie copes with growing up as well as her and the family adventure on a road trip in which we meet new characters and a returning one which everyone will be happy to see.

In my own personal opinion, the Toy Story 4 is by far the best in the franchise which is something I never thought I would say about a sequel but it ticks all the boxes and is something for all ages to enjoy. However, like all franchises, it is best that if you are new to the series then you watch the entire franchise for the best experience.

Because of the successful box office and of course of Tom Hanks’ brilliant voice acting as Woody, the movie now joins the other most successful Disney movies to reach over $1B in revenues. Toy Story 4 now joins the likes of Avengers: Endgame ($2.79 billion), The Lion King 2019 ($1.34 billion), Captain Marvel ($1.12 billion) and finally last but not least Aladdin ($1.03 billion).
